Selmer Paris SII – 1992

This is a very nice Selmer SII alto saxophone in gold lacquer finish, serial number 485425. If you are looking for a versatile pro horn with a rich sound and even response in all registers, a SII is a prefect choice. The SII alto has been a go to choice for many of the worlds finest alto players for many years.

The body of this alto is in extremely good physical condition. It does show some honest play wear from past use but has never seen any serious repair. All of the key work as well as the key guards are in great shape. Its body tube, bow, bow cap and bell are all in terrific condition. The sax has never received any solder repairs. This saxophone is with the original neck. The neck shows similar cosmetic condition to the body and has never been pulled down.

The previous owner of this sax took great care of it and kept it regularly serviced over the years. It came in playing on a set of good leather pads and brown nylon resonators. To ensure the saxophone leaves our store in perfect playing condition it will be serviced in our shop before shipping. The work will include fine tuning of the pads and replacement of any key materials that are not up to snuff.

This alto ships out in perfect playing condition in the original Selmer wood hard case.
