This is a P. Mauriat Le Bravo 200 alto saxophone in matte brass with gold lacquered keys, with a sterling silver neck, serial PM0503123. These saxophones are great playing instruments for anyone looking to upgrade to a step-up sax, one with full modern keywork, solid tone, and reliable intonation. There is a bit of wear forming on this horn from general use, and one nick on the C tone hole, so we are pricing it as a 'floor model' with a Saxquest set-up.

The Le Bravo 200 comes with full modern, chromatic key-work from low Bb up to palm F#, lacquered brass front-f rocker included, and a tilting table Bb key. The horn has blued-steel needle springs throughout driving fluid key motion. Again, the neck is sterling silver with a matte finish.

There are no dents on the body tube, bow, or bell, the neck has no pulldown; this Le Bravo has never been owned, yet it has a small scrape on the exterior of the upper-stack C tone hole and a bit of lacquer wear forming in various spots throughout the body tube. Our own shop will go through this horn after purchase and give it our own set-up to hold a good seal, the corks and felts will be replaced with synthetic materials that will last a long time. A 1-year mechanical repair warranty is included, this will cover any pad leaks that form, or materials that may fall off or need adjustment.

The Le Bravo 200 is great for students looking for a horn with a dark, free blowing, focused tone. It's a solid step-up horn at a good price. This sax ships in perfect playing condition with its original neck, an injection foam box-style carrying case with backpack straps, extra storage for accessories, music, and marching flip books.
