Black Nickel with Gold-lacquered Keys - DEMO Price

Here we have a P. Mauriat 20th anniversary alto in black nickel plate with gold lacquered keys and inner-bell wash, serial number PM0232023. This saxophone is in great condition with a single blemish, so we are offering it at a lower price than a new one generally goes for.

These saxophones are very interesting, they seem to resemble the Keilwerth SX90R series that comes in black nickel with gold keys as well. It still plays like you'd expect a P. Mauriat to play, sonically rich with an emphasis on the free blowing feel. This horn comes with modern key-work from low-Bb up to palm F#, solid ribbed construction, blued-steel needle-springs, and drawn and rolled tone holes from top to bottom.

The 20th Anniversary alto has a beautiful engraving featured on the front of the bell, it depicts a sailboat floating on a lake resting in the valley of a mountainous region, a house and two trees peek out above the crest of smaller hills. Interestingly, this is a geographic feature of northern-central Taiwan! The engraving on the neck is floral on each side, which actually provides some extra grip. Great work, P. Mauriat!

This horn is a floor model, and has not been owned, but it has sustained one blemish on the bell rim. The rim flattens out near the body, and has a small lacquer scrape, so we have priced this instrument lower than if you got one brand new! Everything else is in perfect condition.
